This is a substantial, authentic copper basin (Leğen) featuring wonderful hand-hammered texture and a warm, aged glow. Traditionally used for washing or kitchen tasks, this heavy-gauge copper piece is a perfect example of primitive metalwork.

• Historical Repair: There is a visible repair (patch/soldering) located right in the center of the base, as shown in the close-up photos. This is an old, functional repair that adds immense character, showing how much the item was valued and kept in use.

• Surface: The interior shows a faded tin lining (kalay) with a beautiful silvery-grey patina, while the exterior has been polished to highlight the rich copper tones.
