The C-130 BRASS DESK MODEL measures – 10.5" inches wing tip to wing tip and 8" inches nose to tail and 7.5" in height including stand. The BRASS plane is a Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft desk model plane is heavy and made of solid brass. The plane’s finish is polished smooth and shows original forging and polishing marks and pits. The belly tanks and propellers are made of Brass, the props pin freely. The desk model comes with the stand shown in pictures. On the Bottom of the Brass stand are two forged medallions – The First Medallion reads: “ALI’S COPPER SHOP” & “P.O. BOX. 612” – In the center of this medallion is this depiction of a Turkish Urn. The Second Medallion reads: “TELEX 62230116TR” & “TLE=13108” – The center of this medallion reads: “INCIRLIK / ADANA / TURKEY”. The stand bottom is attached to the riser with two (2) screws. The riser is attached to the plane’s fuselage with three screws. For shipping the stand and riser will be dismantled from the plane and bagged and labeled to ease in reassembly.
