I recently received my copper urn to transfer my mom’s ashes into upon her first year anniversary. It came a day earlier than expected and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. I had struggled many months shopping online for the ‘right thing’ that my mom would’ve also possibly selected for herself should she had a chance to see it first. There’s so many wild options for containment of something so personal and I was close to giving up after such lengthy indecision and seeing nice ones but weren’t ’just right’ and simply picking something randomly. That felt wrong and lazy too though. Then I happened to see this one with a delicate shape and interesting hammered texture in the specified material that mom wanted and investigated a bit more. The price was right and the clock was ticking. Took the chance and committed my sale feeling great relief that I likely found the ‘right thing’. The day I brought her out of her temporary ashes container to be placed in her new copper final resting place in a beautiful overlooking small piece of paradise high on a hill in La Jolla, CA went incredibly well and created a memory that I’ll never forget and enjoy revisiting whenever it’s time to stop by, and think back.
Thank you for having ’just the right thing’ for mom. I’m positive she’s at peace with everything now and always.
